I miss your embrace - the smell of you - the warmth of your flesh Lying there in the stillness of daybreak - watching you sleep - feeling your breath lingering in the air between us I feel your warmth as you lie so near - it softens the chill - and the start of the new Day As the world awakes I lie watching you oh beautiful boy - your eyes - your mouth and your face So as the sun comes up, and - your still sleepy eyes open - and look into mine I see that smile, as you welcome - your warm companion and savour the promise of the coming day
